I love the structure and intention of a beautifully composed portrait, but I never want your entire gallery to feel posed. I’m looking for the in-between moments too: the laugh that happens after a portrait, the way you instinctively reach for each other’s hand, the glance down at your belly. My work is rooted in true-to-color imagery, thoughtful composition, and genuine connection.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Every client is different- but some questions come up often. Here are some answers to help guide you through the experience.
Q. When should i schedule my session?
I highly recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28-34 weeks gestation if you are having one child. If you are pregnant with more than one baby, I recommend 26-30 weeks.
Q. What if I am not photogenic?
You don't need to know how to pose. I'll offer gentle direction throughout your session while leaving space for natural moments and genuine connection.
Q. Do you offer newborn sessions, too?
I do! I absolutely love working with clients and capturing the sweet, tender moments when baby has finally arrived!
Q. What should i wear?
I always recommend a flowy dress or a skirt and sweater combination if that's your style. I also help with planning your wardrobe and offer links to options, too!
Q. Can my spouse & children be included?
Absolutely! I always encourage having your partner and other children present for the session since this is a special moment for you all.
Q. What happens if the weather is bad?
We will reschedule for the earliest date that works for us both. My highest priority is capturing these memories for you before baby arrives!
